Interesting Classic Cars To Be Auctioned By Bonhams In USA

Some of you who are classic car enthusiasts may fancy a trip to Pennsylvania, USA to attend Bonhams Collectors Motorcars’ and Automobilia Auction that is to take place on the 8th October 2018. You can find out more details about numerous classic cars that are being sold at the above event by visiting Bonhams website but we highlight a small number of the cars that are being offered for sale below: –

A 1931 Rolls-Royce 40/50hp Phantom 11 Newmarket Convertible Sedan with a 6-cylinder 7,668cc engine is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £230,000 to £300,000. The coachwork was completed by Brewster & Co. This delightful vehicle has travelled less than 35,000 miles since it was first manufactured. It is 1 of only 125 of these left hand drive cars built making it quite rare. The vehicle is said to be in excellent condition.

A 1954 Kaiser Darrin 161 is being offered for sale with an estimated price of between £110,000 to £140,000. This delightful left hand drive two-seater soft-top sports car has apparently been restored beautifully. It has a 6-cylinder 161 ci engine producing 90 bhp. This is also a rare vehicle as only 435 were built. The bodywork and much of the interior is in a pale green colour.

A 1953 Jaguar XK120 Roadster has an estimated sale price of between £68,000 to £87,000. This red, left hand drive classic sports car has only done 5,900 miles so it has an extremely low mileage with this no doubt adding to its appeal. It has a 6-cylinder 3,442cc engine producing 160 bhp. It is said to have been extremely well preserved.

As stated earlier, there are many other classic cars being offered for sale at the above auction. You may wish to study their brochure online.
