If you are a classic car enthusiast then you may have attended Bonhams Grandes Marques du Monde auction that took place on the 9th February 2017 at the Grand Palais in Paris. There were many vehicles that caught the eye of people some of which we mention below.<\/p>\n

A recent auction by Bonhams took place at the Grand Palais, Paris.<\/p><\/div>\n

Apparently, the classic car that received the most attention was a 1935 Aston Martin Ulster \u201cCML 719\u201d. At the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1935 it finished in 5th position. It attracted particular attention from four people bidding and eventually went for Euros 2,012,500 with this figure being well above the price it was estimated to sell for.<\/p>\n

A Bentley S1 Continental that was manufactured way back in 1957 was sold for Euros 1,070,100. This was a rare vehicle as only 31 were built.<\/p>\n

A Maybach SW-36 Spezial Cabriolet built in 1929 ended up being sold for the price of Euros 673,350.<\/p>\n

A Mercedes-Benz 300 SL \u201cGullwing\u201d Coupe that was built in 1966 achieved a figure of Euros 1,017,266. There were two people bidding who were particularly keen on this classic car.<\/p>\n

A Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 \u201cSeries 2\u201d that was constructed back in 1966 was sold for Euros 276,600.<\/p>\n

A Renault 5 Turbo Tour de Corse Group B Rally Works Car that was only built in 1983 was actually sold for Euros 195,500.<\/p>\n

A Renault 4CV \u201cMagpie\u201d Police Car built in 1955 achieved a price over its estimated one being sold for Euros 39,700. Apparently, there was a lot of interest in this particular vehicle.<\/p>\n

There were many other classic cars sold on the day as well as motorcycles and automobilia.<\/p>\n

If you were not able to get along to the above auction then perhaps you may be able to go to Bonhams Goodwood Members\u2019 Meeting that takes place on the 18th and 19th March 2017 at Goodwood. You will be able to watch some exciting racing involving classic cars.
