As you can see, the average cost of\ninsuring a car with the above type of policy has risen every quarter last year\napart from in the third quarter when there was a small reduction of \u00a36 per\nannum. Premiums have gone up by \u00a341 per annum in the last year and this is most\nconcerning and one cannot help but wander what is going to happen with car\ninsurance premiums over the next twelve months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Young motorists come off worst with 18 year\nolds having to pay more for their car insurance than any other age. The average\namount paid by someone of that age for fully comprehensive car insurance is\n\u00a32,130 per annum. That is \u00a3147 per annum more than what they were paying a year\nago \u2013 a large increase and something that the young driver could have done\nwithout. Get to 38 years of age and you pay a lot less \u2013 an average of \u00a3672 per\nannum. A 69 year old is being charged an average of \u00a3481 per annum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The above index also looks at what is\nhappening to car insurance premiums on a regional basis. The most expensive\nregion to live in to insure your family car is in Inner London with premiums\naveraging \u00a31,260 per annum. Unfortunately, people living in that region will be\ndisappointed to read that is an increase of \u00a391 per annum when compared with a\nyear ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
