vehicle details – vehicle registration, make, model, engine size, year manufactured and fuel type.

product details – responses to our questions about your insurance product preferences

technical data – internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system and platform, details of browser plug-ins

Legitimate Interests* Data is used for the purpose of arranging an introduction to an FCA-authorised insurance intermediary who will be able to provide you with a quote on the insurance product that you are interested in.

It is in our ‘legitimate interests’ to introduce you to an FCA-authorised insurance intermediary, as this is the service we offer. This aligns with your interests to receive a quote from an FCA-authorised insurance intermediary.

Sharing your personal data

We will only share your personal data with a single FCA-authorised insurance intermediary, so that they can contact you and provide you with a quote. Once we have shared your data with an FCA-authorised intermediary, they will become a Data Controller.

We will not share your personal data with any other third parties.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes that we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
