Third Oldest Known Surviving Mini Cooper To Be Auctioned

Classic car enthusiasts and those with a particular interest in the Mini Cooper may like to know that on Saturday the 22nd May 2021 at the Silverstone Auctions what is believed to be the third oldest known surviving Mini Cooper is to be auctioned. It will be interesting to see what level of bids such a classic vehicle attracts on the day.

The vehicle in question is a 1961 Morris Mini Cooper (997). It will be 60 years of age in September! It has a guide price of £20,000 to £25,000. It is said to only have 45,640 miles on the clock making it an extremely low mileage. It is said to have been fully restored by the current vendor who is only the fourth registered keeper and it is believed to be the 3rd oldest known Mini Cooper to have survived. Its bodywork is in Tartan Red and it has a Black roof. It has a 997cc engine. Apparently, it featured in Miniworld around 10 years ago. We suspect that this classic Mini will probably attract a great deal of interest.
