The event will include numerous disciplines such as touring cars, GT, sports car and Formula One. There will no doubt be the usual celebrities present to add to the occasion.

The Historic Grand Prix Cars Association (HGPCA) is forecasting that every space will be filled on the track for the Formula One races in respect of the pre-1966 and pre-1961 categories. There are expected to be Bugattis from the 1920s, Maseratis and Ferraris from the 1950s and, from the 1960s, the famous British Lotuses, Coopers and Brabhams.

Also featuring will be grand prix cars covering the period 1968 to 1978 that was when Williams, Tyrell and McLaren came to prominence. When they are on the track you will be able to witness these cars performing in the liveries of that era.

If you are a Le Mans 24 Hour race fan there is expected to be at least 5 sports car and GT grids that will include the ever-popular Group C racing. This will include Porsches, Peugeots and Jaguars. To add to the ambience these cars will be racing as dusk falls on the track.

There are so many other wonderful events such as the Stirling Moss Trophy that is specific to pre-1961 sports cars, the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) Woodcote Trophy that is specific to sports cars covering the period up to 1955 and the RAC Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars will include GT cars built pre-1963.

The Under 2-litre Touring Car race is already fully booked and will include cars built before 1966 including Mini Coopers, Alfa Romeo GTAs and Lotus Cortinas.

For those of you that have attended previous events you know that this is an event not to be missed. There is so much to see and do. Enjoy!
