Quality Classic Cars To Be Sold By RM Sotheby’s

Classic car enthusiasts who are thinking of buying such a vehicle may like to attend RM Sotheby’s Paris auction of classic cars on the 5th February 2020 as there are some wonderful vehicles being offered for sale. Below we mention just some of those vehicles with more information being available on the auctioneer’s website.

Why not cast your eyes over a 1946 Delahaye 135 Cabriolet. This is a beautiful looking open topped two-seater classic car that has an estimated sale price of 350,000 to 450,000 Euros. It has been shown at a number of councours events. The bodywork is in a two colour scheme and has been restored. It has lovely looking red leather seats.

There is a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL “Pagoda” that is being offered for sale with an estimated sale price of 60,000 to 80,000 Euros. It has a “Pagoda” hard top as well as a soft top and has an automatic gearbox and is also air conditioned. This two-seater sports car has light coloured leather seats.

If you have a significantly larger budget then you may wish to peruse a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing with an estimated sale price of 800,000 to 1,200,000 Euros. It has its original engine. It has silver coloured bodywork and delightful red leather seats. This classic vehicle will no doubt attract a great deal of attention.

A 1967 ISO Grifo GL Series 1 is being offered for sale with an estimated price of 200,000 to 250,000 Euros. You will be interested to read that only 200 of these Series 1 vehicles were manufactured. Its original owner was Bobby Hatfield who was a singer with the Righteous Brothers. It has beige leather seating.

Those of you who are Jaguar fans may wish to have a look at a 1959 Jaguar XK 150 S 3.4 Roadster that has an estimates sale price of 140,000 to 180,000 Euros. It still has its original bodywork that has been restored in dark blue and also its original engine. This vehicle will certainly catch the eye of many a passer-by.

If you have a bigger budget then how about an open-topped 1937 SS 100 Jaguar 3 and ½ litre Roadster that has an estimated sale price of 350,000 to 400,000 Euros. It is quite rare as only 118 were built. It has taken part in a number of vintage rallies. When built it could almost get to a top speed of 100mph. The bodywork is in racing green and the car has been restored.
