Classic Car Auctions To Hold Another Online Auction

Classic car enthusiasts will be interested to read that, despite the coronavirus pandemic, they will be able to buy such a vehicle next month at a live online auction that is being run by the well-known Classic Car Auctions.

The auction is to take place on the 27th June 2020 from 12.00. You can bid in one of three ways – commission bid, phone bid or online bid. Subject to the rules imposed by the Government, you may be able to view the classic cars by appointment at a venue in Warwickshire on the 13th June 2020 although the auctioneers will be providing an increased number of photographs that can be viewed on their website.

There is expected to be a wide range of classic cars available to bid for some of which we mention below. A comprehensive list can be found on the auctioneer’s website.

For those of you who enjoy getting behind the wheel of an open-topped sports car, why not cast your eyes over a lovely looking red, left-hand drive two-seater 1961 MG MGA 1600 Roadster that has an estimated sale price of £20,000 to £25,000. This classic car was imported from the USA back in 2017 and was subject to an extensive restoration project the following year. It has cream leather seats and has been subject to a respray in Chariot Red. A service has recently been carried out and it has an MOT until December 2020. It is said to have 18,600 miles on the clock making it an extremely low mileage vehicle. There can be no doubt that this sports car will catch the attention of passers by whilst being taken out for a jaunt on a delightful warm summer’s afternoon.

Sports car lovers with a deeper pocket may also like to take a look at a right hand drive 1970 Jaguar E-Type S2 Roadster that has an estimated sale price of £45,000 to £50,000. It has a 4.2 litre engine with a manual gearbox. It is said to have 114,000 miles on the clock. The bodywork is in Signal Red and it has chrome wire wheels. It also has a new black hood.

If you are attracted to something a little more petite and a at lower price then how about a left hand drive 1968 Fiat 500F Berlina that has a .499L engine and has an estimated sale price of £7,000 to £9,000. It is said to have 82,000 miles on the clock and, interestingly, in 2013, in Italy, it was subject to a full paint and body restoration.
