H and H To Auction Classic Vehicles

Classic car enthusiasts will be interested to read that H and H Classics is to auction a number of classic vehicles at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire on the 26th May 2021. We thought we would highlight some of the vehicles being offered for sale but more information can be found on the auctioneer’s website.

A pale blue, two-seater 1958 Triumph TR3A is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £13,000 to £15,000. In the late 1980s it was restored to be used in speed events. It has a 1991cc engine producing 104bhp and was capable of reaching a speed of up to 110mph making it a very nippy vehicle.

If you have a larger budget then you may wish to peruse an open-topped two-seater 1953 Jaguar XK120 that has an estimated sale price of £60,000 to £70,000. It is said to have been in the same family ownership since back in 1968. In the 1990s it was restored. It has a 3,442cc engine producing 160bhp and had a top speed of 120mph.

If you are looking for a low mileage family saloon then why not take a look at a 1957 Vauxhall Cresta E that is said to have only 26.021 miles on the clock. It has an estimated sale price of £12,000 to £14,000. It was owned by someone in Luxembourg from 1957 to 2015 when it was imported into the UK. Its bodywork is in two-tone blue and white. It has leather seating.

If you are looking for something rather luxurious and have a large bank balance then why not mull over a 1952 Bentley MKVI 4.5 Litre Drophead Coupe that has an estimated sale price of £100,000 to £120,000. It has been restored and has featured at numerous shows. It has its original 4,566cc engine and has a four-speed manual gearbox. It has pigskin upholstery. It had a power operated soft top.

If you are looking for an open-topped sports car to take out on a weekend in the summer months then why not take a look at a 1954 MG TF that has an estimated sale price of £18,000 to £22,000. It has had quite a bit of restoration work carried out on it and it is a right-hand drive version that is quite rare. It has an MOT until 30th September 2021.
