If you are thinking of buying a classic car for the first time or have owned such a vehicle for many years and are thinking of investing in another one then why not consider making your way to Historics Auctioneers The Summer Serenade that is to take place at 9.30am on the 18th July 2026. The location is Windsorview Lakes, Mill Place, Horton Road, Datchet SL3 9HX. It does look a delightful location.

You can find a list of the classic cars that are coming up for sale on the auctioneer’s website but we thought that we would mention just a few of them here: –
If you are a classic Mini enthusiast then why not cast your eyes over an Australian market 1967 Morris Mini Cooper S Mk.I that comes with an estimated sale price of between £23,000 to £27,000. Its bodywork is in blue and it has a white roof. It has a grey and blue interior. It came over to the UK in 2012. It has had 3 previous owners in the UK and has been in its current ownership for 4 years. It has been subject to a full bolt and nut restoration and the engine was improved to 1293cc. Since the restoration work it has done less than 2,500 miles. This classic car will probably attract a great deal of interest.
If you have a little bit more to spend and are a fan of Jaguars then why not peruse a red 1969 Jaguar E type Series II Coupe that has an estimated sales price of between £37,000 to £44,000. It has a 4.2 litre XK 6-cylinder engine that was restored in 2012 at a cost of around £7,000. It is said to be in overall, good condition. When out on the road it will probably catch the eyes of many a passer-by and may well attract quite a bit of attention.
If you fancy something a little more sedate than the aforementioned classic car then how about a four door 1956 Mercedes-Benz 220a Ponton that has an estimated sale price of between £23,000 to £29,000. It is a very rare RHD UK supplied classic car. It has only had three owners since being manufactured. Its present owner has spent in excess of £20,000 since 2022. It was restored in the 1990s and has only done in the region of 9,000 miles in around the last 25 years. It has a mere 62,500 miles on the clock making it extremely low mileage for its age.
