The UK motorists are now getting more penalty points and fines on their license due to consistently running through red lights.
According to a research the UK motorists run around 12 million red lights in a month that comes out to be 278 red lights per minute. When UK motorists were questioned regarding the red light drive through then over 14% admit of driving two red lights in a month while 2% drive through red light habitually instead of stopping at traffic light.
Around 9% of motorists are named as amber gamblers as they do not slow or stop at yellow light and prefer to cross the traffic light at same speed risking any unwanted and undesired accident. The drivers who play Russian roulette at traffic lights put their life as well as other road users life at great risk. The motorists who cross red light increase their chances of collision.
The overrunning of red lights is deemed to be risky action by the motorists making it difficult for the driver to get reasonable classic car insurance quotes. At the time of insurance policy renewal one might have to bear hike in car insurance premium prices.
The motorists running through red lights show their irresponsible behaviour towards the safety of the vehicle and co passengers. The drivers who risk the red light drive through might have to bear points on license which will directly influence classic car insurance quotes.
The motorists driving through red light get fined and three penalty points on their license. The laws might become more rigid further making it difficult for the car owner to manage classic car insurance cover.
The stylish classic cars need due care and by driving safely one can largely reduce the chances of mishap and premium prices.
