Forthcoming Auction In Buxton Offers Some Interesting Classic Cars

H & H is to hold an auction of classic cars at The Pavilion Gardens Buxton on the 8th December 2021 with viewing available the day before. You can find full details on the auctioneer’s website but below we mention just some of the vehicles being offered for sale that may interest some classic car enthusiasts.

For those of you with a sizeable bank balance you may wish to peruse a black 1953 Aston Martin DB2 Vantage that has an estimated sale price of £150,000 to £180,000. It has an MOT until October 2022. Apparently, it is said to be one of the last 20 of the DB2s that were manufactured. It has red leather seats. In its last nine years of being owned it has had in the region of £100,000 spent on it.

If you have a more modest budget then you can still get into classic cars as a blue 1965 Wolseley 1500 is being offered for sale with an estimated price of between £5,000 to £7,000. It is said to have only 34,000 miles on the clock making this a very low mileage vehicle. It has an MOT until June 2022. It has 9 previous owners.

Those of you who like Jaguars may like to cast your eyes over a red 1988 Jaguar XJ-S V12 Convertible classic sports car. It is said to have 80,200 miles on the clock. It has been in the same ownership since back in 2008. It has an estimated sale price of between £9,000 to £11,000.

A Mendoza Blue 1971 Lancia Fulvia 1.3S is being offered for sale with an estimated sale price of between £16,000 to £20,000. It is said to have around 95,500 miles on the clock. It won a “Top 10” prize at the 2021 Lancia Motor Club Annual Weekend. It has been in the same ownership since 2013.

How about a black 1966 MG Midget open topped sports car with an estimated sale price of between £5,000 to £7,000. It was subject to a restoration back in the early 2000’s and has been in the same ownership since back in 2002.
